General use

Ask it to review its own work

Give the agent a separate pass to find and fix what it missed.

A magnifying glass inspecting an interface with a misplaced tile.

Once the agent says it is finished, ask it to review the result. It is really good at this. A separate pass gives it a different job: find bugs, missed requirements, and awkward behavior instead of continuing to add things.

For a website, ask it to open the actual page and use it. For code, ask it to check the important behavior and run relevant tests. Have it distinguish what it tested from what it only inspected.

Try it

  1. Restate the original requirements so the review has something concrete to check.
  2. Ask it to try the main user flow and look for failure cases.
  3. Have it fix the problems it finds and verify those fixes.

A prompt to steal

Review your work against my original request. Look for bugs, missed requirements, and awkward interactions. Exercise the main user flow where possible, fix significant issues, and say what you actually tested.
