Multitask

Run independent tasks in separate chats while you review the results.

One of the biggest benefits of Codex is how good it is for multitasking. While one task is working, you can brief another, review a result, or work on something yourself. You do not have to sit and watch every step.

Keep each chat focused on a clear outcome. Independent projects are an easy place to start. If several tasks touch the same code, separate their checkouts or responsibilities so their changes do not collide.

Try it

  1. Choose two tasks that can proceed independently.
  2. Start each in its own chat with enough context to work.
  3. Review completed results and keep track of anything waiting on you.
